Factsheet

What?

Supervision is the accompanying, regular reflection of professional behaviour, including one’s tasks, role and personal development. In most cases, longer-term support is provided in the form of one-to-one sessions at regular intervals, either every 14 days or monthly, to support everyday professional life.

Your needs and capabilities are at the heart of the process!

How?

Mainly through dialogue, asking the right questions and helping you to recognise your own resources and strengths in a supportive, accepting and non-judgemental atmosphere, either in an individual or team setting on site or online (MS Teams/Zoom).

Supervision

“Turbulent times. Clear heads.”

Working in a team is usually an enriching experience. Nevertheless, tensions and differences can arise in challenging times or when a team is newly formed. This can affect both the task itself and the relationships between team members.

Team supervision can provide relief in day-to-day work by offering a moderated framework for addressing specific issues, or by supporting the team during challenging start-up periods. Newly formed groups working towards a common goal often go through certain phases. After an initial period of harmony, it is not uncommon for different views to almost inevitably come to light: positions and roles are negotiated, and diversity is practiced as a quality in everyday life. A team is capable of synergy when it accepts differences and utilises all strengths. Then the following is true:

‘The whole is greater than the sum of its parts’, and the team will perform at its best!

Factsheet

What?

Team supervision involves regular reflection on professional behaviour, tasks, one’s own role and relationships between people. Longer-term support is usually provided in the form of double sessions at regular intervals to support everyday working life.

The needs and capabilities of the team are at the heart of the process!

How?

Mainly through moderated discussions in a supportive, accepting and non-judgemental atmosphere within the team setting. It is important to ensure the attendance of all team members and the team leader.

This can be done on site or online via MS Teams or Zoom.
